<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown of stored contents of a memory and to announce voltage drop by detecting the decrease in supply voltage by a signal of a fixed period from a time signal generator and the signal to be introduced from a printer into an arithmetic processing unit, and temporarily interrupting the printing of the printer by that signal. CONSTITUTION:Prior to controlling of a printing control circuit 5, the control signal is applied from an arithmetic processing unit 1 to a counter 6 to make the content of the counter 6 zero and to apply the control signal 1e to the circuit 5. Also, the signal 4 which serves as a reference is applied from a printer 3 to the unit 1 as well as to the counter 6. Further, the signal of a fixed period from a time signal generator 2 is detected with the unit 1 and when this signal is detected, the control signal 1d is applied to a gate circuit, through which the count value from the counter 6 is introduced. In the unit 1, said count value is compared with a prescribed value, and whether the supply voltage can assure operation or not is judged. According to the result thereof, an R-SFF 8 is driven, to announce the voltage drop to the operator and temporarily interrupt the printing operation.</p> |
