PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control the number of thumbnail images to be displayed, on a touch panel.

SOLUTION: The operation control apparatus includes: a display section 18 on which thumbnail images based on a photographic image are displayed; an operating section which includes a touch panel 14 corresponding to a screen of the display section 18, and to which an instruction relating to display of thumbnail images on the display section 18 is input; and a thumbnail image control section for setting the number of thumbnail images to be displayed in accordance with positions on the screen designated by the input from the operating section or a distance of continuous moving operations input to the operating section and for displaying a thumbnail stream 34 with the set number of images.
