<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease drive torque of a fixing member by preventing an increase in frictional resistance between the internal circumferential surface of a belt member and a pressure member. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device has: a cylindrical fixing roller 1 having a heat generation means 14 inside and is rotated by a drive means; an endless fixing belt 2 rotated with the rotation of the fixing roller 1; and the pressurizing member 3 pressed against the fixing roller 1 via the fixing belt 2, thereby forming a nip portion N between the fixing belt 2 and the fixing roller 1. A coating layer 17 containing graphite and silicon beads 18 is provided on the surface of the pressurizing member 3 slid on the internal circumferential surface of the fixing belt 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
