<p>The air filter unit comprises a cylindrical filter element (10) having interior thread on a terminal plate (13, 14), a housing base (41) having a recess with an external thread, and a clip connection formed between the terminal plate and the housing base in an angle area in an installation condition of the filter element by a hemispherical clip projection and the recess. The filter element is arranged in a housing element (40). The terminal side of the filter element is connected with the terminal plate. The terminal side of the filter element is connected with the terminal plate.
