TERMINAL DEVICE, BATTERY RESIDUAL QUANTITY DISPLAY METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately display the battery residual quantity of an apparatus such as a cellular phone terminal. SOLUTION: Charging/discharging characteristics of a mounted secondary battery and its charging capacity are stored as a battery profile. Based on the stored battery profile and an operational state of the terminal device, the battery residual quantity of the mounted secondary battery is estimated and a virtual battery residual quantity is calculated.
