<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizer of a pouch with a plug capable of preventing gelation of a content at a spout. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sterilizer 1 for heat-sterilizing the pouch 30 with the plug in which the content is filled includes a transfer means 8 capable of travelling along a predetermined transfer route, a support means 10 attached rotatably around a support shaft 17 to the transfer means to support the pouch while the plug 33 is turned to the rotation direction around the support shaft, a heating part 3 arranged in the predetermined transfer route to heat the pouch, a cooling part 4 arranged in the predetermined transfer route to cool the heated pouch, and a reverse rotation means 18 reversely rotating the support means around the support shaft by the heating part and the cooling part.
