<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of protecting a photoreceptor drum when a process cartridge is removed from the image forming apparatus, and to provide a process cartridge mounted in the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When mounting the process cartridge 13 having the photoreceptor drum 18 to a process frame 12, an operation part 58 in a shutter 41 is made to abut on a positioning plate 74 of the process frame 12 and swung toward the mounting direction upstream side of the process cartridge 13 to the process frame 12, so that the shutter 41 is moved from a closing position for covering the photoreceptor drum 18 to an opening position for exposing the photoreceptor drum 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
