PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner including a filter cleaning device in which a brush of a filter cleaning member is driven while being kept in a proper positional relationship with an air filter. SOLUTION: In a filter driving mechanism 15c, the air filter 35a is held by a frame 16. The frame 16 is disposed in a body casing 5, and supports the filter driving mechanism 15c. The filter cleaning member 14 holds the brush 47, and the brush 47 is rotated by driving force supplied from the filter driving mechanism 15c while kept into contact with the air filter 35a.
