The invention relates to the equipment for working sheet blanks by pressure. A hydro-press of double action contains a bed, a frame for pressing a sheet-billet along the perimeter, a fixed traverse and a mobile working traverse with a punch fixed on hydraulic power cylinders. The mobile working traverse is located on additional hydraulic cylinders of small diameter for idling. The hydraulic power cylinders are made with repeatedly reduced working motion from the largest motion of mobile working traverse. Their plungers are loosely located in the openings of fixed traverse. The actuating cylinders are equipped with mechanisms for their transverse reciprocating movement in such a way that the plungers of the hydraulic power cylinders are abutted against the fixed traverse prior to deformation of the sheet-billet. Technical result: increase of the reliability of hydro-press with reduction of its operating cycle.
