PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Japanese dress article completely the same as a traditional conventional kimono in appearance, excellent in comfortability of wear, and having stretchability. SOLUTION: This Japanese dress article has such a structure that a body face cloth and lining comprise a material whose elongation rate in at least either the longitudinal direction or the cross direction under 1.5 kg load is 5%-30%, and whose elongation recovery rate after elongating repeatedly 10 times is 80%-100%, and a hip garment pressure in wearing and acting is <5.0 kPa.
