PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank manufacturing method for fixing reinforcing fibers at their ends to a winding face without performing a process to weave the fiber ends into a reinforcing fiber layer. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a tank 2 comprises a step of winding the bunched reinforcing fibers F impregnated with a thermoset resin on the outer peripheral face of the tank 2 to form the reinforcing fiber layer on the shell of the tank 2, and a step of thermosetting the resin in the reinforcing fiber layer. In the step of forming the reinforcing fiber layer, an adhesive tap T is previously set on the bunched reinforcing fibers F to be wound on the outermost layer position of the reinforcing fiber layer of the tank 2. When the bunched reinforcing fibers F are wound on the outermost layer of the tank 2, the bunched reinforcing fibers F are adhered to the winding face of the reinforcing fiber layer with the adhesive tape T.
