DENOX SYSTEM AND PROCESS

A nitrogen oxide removal system and a method thereof are provided to remove first nitric oxide included in the exhaust gas more effectively because the ammonia is reacted at the SCR catalyst with the first nitric oxide included in the exhaust gas. A nitrogen oxide removal system comprises SCR catalyst(200) and an ammonia generating unit(300). The SCR catalyst removes the first nitric oxide because the first nitric oxide included in the exhaust gas ejected in the engine catalyst-reacts. The ammonia generating unit produces ammonia by using the fuel supplied to the engine in the SCR catalyst so that the first nitric oxide is reacted and removed.
