<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolled damp hand towel preparing apparatus capable of forming a rolled damp hand towel which is warm from the first stage. <P>SOLUTION: A storage part 25, a supply means 29, a cutting means 30, a watering means 56, and a forming means 78 are arranged inside a casing 8. The watering means 56 includes: a heating tank 60 for heating water to be supplied from a storage tank which is inserted to a storage part 57; a spraying nozzle 63 connected by way of a primary discharge pipe 66, a switch valve 62, and a secondary discharge pipe 67 from the heating tank 60; and a return pipe 68 for connecting the switch valve 62 to the connection part 57B of the storage part 57. Cooled-down water in the primary discharge pipe 66 is returned to the storage part 57 via the return pipe 68 and the connection part 57B. After sufficient time elapses for the replacement of the water in the primary discharge pipe 66, the switch valve 62 is switched and the primary discharge pipe 66 is connected to the secondary discharge pipe 57.
