<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program which reduces processing time from a print instruction to printing, while reducing usage of ink. <P>SOLUTION: After the image data to be printed by a printer is output to a device context which is a virtual display area, a computer outputs the image data to a printer driver from the device context concerned performs: (A1) a step which acquires the number of dots in every direction which shows a volume of the image data, (B) a step which calculates an α value which shows opacity from an ink reduction rate which a user set up beforehand, (C) a step which performs a translucence painting process of the α value to an area including a rectangle area corresponding to the number of dots of the device context in every direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
