<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for use in the design and emulation of user design via a reconfigurable platform. <P>SOLUTION: A system and a method are provided for use in the design and emulation of user designs via a reconfigurable platform. The system and the method enable user design of a system-on-chip type to be designed and emulated more easily. A netlist in the user design uses a platform including a plurality of field programmable gate array devices and can be included in a netlist of customized or optimized third-party circuits.
