<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation method giving salt stress to roots of plants, and increasing internal quality (sugar content, taste, nutritive value, fruit hardness, etc.) of plant edible parts so as to bring effective action to internal quality improvement of plant edible parts by culture solution raw water and a culture solution additive which effectively give salt stress and mineral as fertilizer. <P>SOLUTION: This cultivation method comprises supplying to plants, hot spring water as culture solution raw water, the culture solution additive, or a component derived from hot spring water so as to give each kind of mineral contained in hot spring water to plants.
