<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering system having high practicability which is provided with a steering lock device. <P>SOLUTION: A steering lock device 100 provided in a driving force transmission mechanism 64 of a steering system 10 has a block 102 to be engaged with a worm 80 provided in the driving force transmission mechanism, and an engagement mechanism 104 to engage the block with the worm, and the block is engaged with teeth of the worm. In this configuration, the mechanical strength of the steering lock device can be increased. More specifically, teeth to be engaged with the teeth of the worm are formed on the block, and the teeth are engaged with the teeth of the worm.
