PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft hitting rod capable of improving the safety by mitigating a shock of a person to be hit, having a bending strength for suppressing the longitudinal bending, being handled just as the player wants, even if fiercely swinging it around, and having a high operability. SOLUTION: This soft hitting rod is constituted by a grip, a core part fitted to one end of the grip, and an outer tube part covering the outside of the core part and having flexibility, wherein an inner tube part, which is constituted by a synthetic resin reinforcing tube formed with a plurality of opening parts in its outer circumference, and a buffer part extending along the inner circumference of the reinforcing tube and having flexibility, is mounted between the core part and the outer tube part.
