<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver and a drive system in which ample low-speed driving and smooth change of the driving speed are possible. <P>SOLUTION: One voltage value is outputted selectively from a first voltage value, a second voltage value lower than the first voltage value, and a third voltage value lower than the second voltage value. First, the first voltage value is outputted in a first period, after the second voltage value is outputted in a second period; the third voltage value is outputted in a third period; and then the second voltage value is outputted in the final fourth period. Such an output cycle is repeated, and a voltage is applied to an electromechanical conversion element.
