LOAD TEST APPARATUS AND METHOD OF BUOY TRACTION WINCH

An apparatus and a method for testing a load of a buoy traction winch are provided to test a load capacity and the reliability of load capacity when building a ship. An apparatus(100) for testing a load includes a main rope(110), a load measuring unit(120), a first connection unit, and a second connection unit. The first connection unit connects the load measuring unit to the main rope. The second connection unit connects the load measuring unit to a deck plate(9) of a ship. The load measuring unit is connected between the main rope and the deck plate of the ship by using the first and second connection units. The main rope is wounded around a buoy traction winch or released from the buoy traction winch.
