PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone capable of surely letting a user of it recognize reception of a telephone call and mail, and letting a third person recognize a shutter sound of a camera. SOLUTION: This mobile phone includes a speaker 8 outputting reception sounds of a telephone call and mail and/or a vibrator 6 outputting vibrations indicating the reception of the telephone call and mail, a noise measuring unit 11 which measures ambient sound volume, a lightness measuring unit 13 which measures ambient lightness, and a total control unit 16 which adjusts the volume of the sound output from the speaker 8 or the amount of vibrations output from the vibrator 6 according to the measurement result of the noise measuring unit 11 and the measurement result of the lightness measuring unit 13.
