A lubricant composition comprises a base oil comprising a reduced total amount of cyclobenzene (e,g, dicyclobenzene, tricyclobenzene or tetracyclobenzene) as compared to another base oil. The amount thereof is up to about 4.5 wt %. This is said to result in reduced or prevented deposits in internal combustion engines, and reduced clogging of fuel induction systems, as measured in the TEOST MHT test. |
