A light emitting apparatus, an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device having the same, and a driving method thereof are provided to emit uniformly white beams by compensating for color beams emitted from red, green, and blue beam sources. A light emitting apparatus includes a light emitting unit(250), a light emitting driver(200), an optic sensor unit(300), and a color compensation unit(400). The light emitting unit includes red, green, and blue beam sources. The light emitting driver divides a unit frame into red, green, blue, and white fields, and outputs optic driving signals for driving the red, green, and blue beam sources. The optic sensor unit measures beam amounts emitted from the red, green, and blue beam sources in the white field, which emits white beams by turning on the red, green, and blue beam sources at the same time, and outputs color sensing signals. The color compensation unit compares the color sensing signals with reference values and adjusts light emitting levels.
