PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun shade device for a vehicle capable of smoothly engaging and disengaging respective sun shade panels at opening and closing. SOLUTION: The sun shade device for the vehicle is constituted in such a manner that the rear sun shade panel 5C (5B) is rear-ascendingly turned making a front part slider 6C (6B) as a moment center and ascended, and the front sun shade panel 5B (5A) is superposed and stored below the rear sun shade panel 5C (5B). The front slider 6C (6B) becoming the moment center of the rear sun shade panel 5C (5B) is arranged at the same position as the front end 5Ca (5Ba) of the rear sun shade panel 5C (5B) or a front side of the front end 5Ca (5Ba).
