PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminator which can neatly finish a lamination treatment to a medium to be recorded without performing an edge treatment of the rear end side after the lamination treatment of the medium to be recorded. SOLUTION: A separation part 70, which separates an under-film E apart to the opposite surface side of the recording surface of the medium A to be recorded, and is composed by using a roller 71. A guide surface 73, equipped with a first face 73b slanting to the carrying direction so as to approach the carrying route more for the downstream side and a second face 73c extending along the carrying direction, is provided at the vicinity position of downstream side of the roller 71. A guide member 72 is provided in which at least an upstream side edge part 73a of the guide surface 73 is dislocated in the separation direction of the under-film E from the carrying route. The guide member 72 is further equipped with an extension part 74 directing to the carrying route so as to follow the surface of the roller 71 from the upstream side edge part 73a.
