APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETECTING ANOMALIES WITHIN A BODY

An apparatus and a method for detecting a disease focus within a body to be measured are provided to correctly detect a size and a position of the disease focus without noise generated by an interference between two constant voltages by applying constant voltages having different frequency to the body at a predetermined interval. A method for detecting a disease focus within an body to be measured includes the steps of: supplying a voltage having a first frequency to a body to be measured; detecting a first signal induced by the voltage having the first frequency from the body to be measured through a detection unit; supplying a voltage having a second frequency to the body to be measured if the voltage supply having the first frequency is completed and the voltage having the first frequency is supplied for a more time than a period; detecting the second signal induced by the voltage having the second frequency from the body to be measured through the detection unit; correcting the first and second signals based on an inclination of the detected first and second signals; and calculating a position and a size of disease focus within the body to be measured based on the first and second signals.
