PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can aid beginners in games without spoiling the desires of skilled players for games. SOLUTION: The game machine which is provided with a display control means for controlling the variable display of the identifying information in a plurality of variable display areas and enables the awarding of game values when prescribed stop aspects are derived in a plurality of variable display regions is provided with an operation means which lets players make the operation for stopping variable displays in the plurality of variable display regions and an automatic stop control means which automatically stops the variable displays of the identifying information in the variable display regions when no stop operation by the operation means is made within a prescribed time. The display control means is provided with a variable display start timing control means which controls the variable display start timings in the respective variable display regions so that the identifying information to be variably displayed at predetermined speeds in the respective variable display regions derives the specified stop aspects in the automatic stoppage thereof.
