PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize presenting a natural candle light color at lighting and a platinum-silver color at non-lighting by an electric bulb type heater. SOLUTION: The electric bulb type heater is constituted by encapsulating an irradiation-transmissible bulb 12, a high-melting point metal filament and halogen encapsulated in this bulb 12, an uneven frost 19 is formed in the outer surface of the bulb 12 by a frost working of a prescribed depth, and a platinum coating part 20 of a thin film by platinum is formed on the frost 19. By this, because the frost 19 increases a junction area with the platinum coating part 20, and peeling-off of the platinum coating part 20 can be prevented. Moreover, a color of the filament can be made visible through the bulb 12 when the frost 19 and the platinum are lighted and the silver color can be made visible which is a reflecting color of the platinum coating part 20 when not lighted.
