<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brightness enhancement film which is formed from a layer to be manufactured at a low cost at simple manufacturing steps. <P>SOLUTION: This brightness enhancement film is formed by implanting dopants to a polymer film and varying a concentration of dopants gradually with respect to a depth of the brightness enhancement film. As a result, this brightness enhancement film is formed at a low cost at simple manufacturing steps.
