<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior panel easily broken at inflation of an airbag and an airbag device provided with the interior panel. <P>SOLUTION: When an inflator 14 is gas jetting-acted, a door frame movable body 32 is upwardly moved (lifting action) by upwardly pressing by the inflated airbag 12. The instrument panel 20 is broken along a tear line 22b and a door part 24 is separated off from the peripheral instrument panel 20. The door part 24 is further upwardly moved with the door frame movable body 32 and the tear line 22a of the door part 24 is broken by being pressed by the airbag 12. The door part 24 and respective backing plate parts 32a, 32a are opened like a door while being divided to two sides in left and right direction in Fig. 2 and the airbag 12 is inflated in a cabin. The instrument panel 20 comprises a substrate layer 1 made of polypropylene; an intermediate layer 2 made of thermoplastic polyolefine formulated with rubber or elastomer; and a skin layer 3 made of thermoplastic polyolefin formulated with an inorganic powder such as talc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
