PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent retention of adhered material by always maintaining angle of pressure-contact of a scraper against a belt conveying surface at an acute angle. SOLUTION: The scraper 10 to be brought in pressure-contact with the belt conveying surface B is formed possible to be turned around a holding shaft 3 in the belt cross direction, and energized in the turning direction. In a pressure-contact part between a blade tip 11 of the scraper 10 and the belt conveying surface B, cross section of the scraper 10 in the vertical cross section thereof along the belt travelling direction is formed to always maintain the angleαof pressure-contact formed by a tangent direction of a scraper surface 14 of the scraper 10, which is directed upstream in the belt travelling direction, and the belt conveying surface B at an acute angle from the initial stage to a stage, in which blade tip is worn and it is necessary to exchange. Since the belt surface is prevented from damage such as waving to be damaged by the blade tip 11 from the initial stage to the stage, in which the blade tip is worn and it is necessary to exchange, service life of an expensive belt is maintained, and the generation of vibration and noise in the blade tip 11 is prevented, and pile of the adhered material near the blade tip 11 can be effectively prevented.
