PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize vitamin C and to exhibit excellent beautiful skin effect without adding an artificial chemical substance for stabilizing vitamin C in fruit juice in a skin cosmetic containing acerola fruit juice. SOLUTION: The skin cosmetic comprises acerola fruit juice and mineral water containing sodium hydrogencarbonate. Acerola fruit juice is obtained by squeezing acerola fruit washed with an aqueous solution of citric acid. The cosmetic contains 10-60 wt.% of acerola fruit juice.
