PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate quantity correction and to prevent misregistration of article registration from occurring at the correction of the quantity. SOLUTION: The POS terminal is provided with a quantity correction instructing part 12 for instructing the correction of the quantity and a quantity correction part 14 for correcting the quantity, by replacing the quantity in detailed information stored last in a storage part 13, with a quantity inputted by a quantity input part 12. A calculation part 15 re-calculates the sum of the amount related to transaction, on the basis of the quantity, after the corrections have been made by the quantity correcting part 14.
