The device has an arm (1) driving a mass (2) to transmit an acceleration movement at the level of the arm, for facilitating shifting. A rotating axle (3) placed in a center part of the arm delimits a cable coupling unit and a driving unit (1b) that has a notched sector (1b1) cooperating with a pinion (6) integrated to a mass driving axle (7). The axle (3), the unit (1b), the mass and the pinion are assembled in a case in a tight manner.
