This invention relates to a method for calibrating smart antenna array in real time, used for calibrating antenna array of TDD mode, or FDD mode of transmitter and receiver detached in real time. The method comprises the steps of: precalibrating the antenna array to get the precalibrating data of transmission parameters among antenna cells before the smart antenna array is installed on scene; loading the precalibrating data to the radio base station after the smart antenna array is installed on scene; when the radio base station begins to run or the radio base station is in the processing of running, every transmission link transmitting cellular calibration signal orderly, at the same time the other transmission links being in the receiving state, and noting the cellular calibration signal of the receiving link received in every time slot; calculating the ratio between the receiving and transmitting transmission factors matrix of the receiving and transmission link of every antenna system waiting for calibrating and the receiving and transmitting transmission factors matrix of reference link using all the cellular calibration signal and precalibrating data of the transmission parameters received. It is no use of beacon antenna, coupling structure of antenna array and specially calibrating link. |
