PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand for a bicycle capable of certainly supporting the bicycle when parked in spite of a simple structure and light weight. SOLUTION: The stand for a bicycle has a ring part 10 externally fitted to a part projected from a hanger pipe part 3 of a cup 5 concentrically supporting a crank shaft 4 to the hanger pipe 3 and screw-tightened and fixed by a hanger ring 6; a base plate part 11 extending from the ring part 10 to a bottom surface side of the hanger pipe part 3; a rotation inhibition member 18 for inhibiting the base plate part from rotating with the ring part making the cup as a center; and a bearing support part 12 extending from the base plate part to a lower side of a vehicle body 2 of the bicycle. The stand further comprises a stand rod 14 taking an attitude that it obliquely and downwardly extends against the vehicle body 2 of the bicycle by turning making a pivot part 13 provided on the bearing support part 12 as a center; and a tension spring 16 for pulling and urging to a direction abutting on a stopper 15 in which the stand rod 14 is formed on the bearing support part 12.
