METHOD FOR MANAGING QUALITY OF SERVICE IN MOBILE RADIO SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing quality of service in a mobile radio network in which an associated network element of UTRAN (UMTS Terrestrial Radi Access Network) determines restriction of transport quality of service necessary for implementing the quality of service management.

SOLUTION: The method includes: a step in which a first network element informs a second network element of at least one parameter showing quality of service for the transport network layer by means of the signaling protocol of a radio network layer; and a step in which the second network element uses at least the one parameter for managing service quality related to the transport network layer.
