FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly shaping sections of strip in section bending mill. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of shaping section in roll grooved passes by several transitions along rolling axis at successive positive bending of lateral flanges; during shaping process feeding cooling and lubricating liquid onto front portion of each roll pass at side of guiding strip into it and onto rear portion of roll pass at side of strip outlet from it; feeding cooling and lubricating liquid onto rear portion of roll pass in the form of jets in such a way that to provide contact of jets with surface of each roll in zone whose boundaries are spaced upwards and downwards from horizontal plane passing through axis of roll by distance no more than 0.15 of rolling roll diameter; feeding each jet by angle relative to line tangent to roll surface and passing through contact point of said surface with liquid jet; selecting value of said inclination angle in range (+45)° - (-45)°. Apparatus for performing the method includes nozzles for feeding liquid arranged in zone section bending rolls at side of strip inlet into roll pass and at side of strip outlet from it. At least two nozzles are mounted at side of strip outlet from roll pass in zone of each roll.
