PURPOSE: A method for controlling material-flow control gate of blast furnace using micro-pulse is provided to efficiently control the material-flow control gate by impressing the divided micro-pulses to the step motor after dividing one pulse impressed to step motor per one step into various micro-pulses. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises an opening speed setting step of setting opening speed of the material-flow control gate according to type and quantity of ore charged into the blast furnace; a micro-pulse producing step of dividing one pulse impressed to the step motor per one step of a step motor for controlling opening of the material-flow control gate into a plural equal micro-pulses according to the set opening speed of the material-flow control gate; an on/off time setting step of setting on/off time of the micro-pulses; and a micro-pulse impressing step of impressing the plural equal micro-pulses to the step motor per steps of the step motor according to the set on/off time of the micro-pulses. The system for controlling the material-flow control gate comprises a material-flow control gate opening speed setting part(42), an action starting/stopping signal generating part(43), a micro-pulse on/off time setting part(44), a direction setting part(45), an angle detecting part(41), an input part(46) and a control part(47).
