<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an adjacent photoreceptor, etc., from being affected by heat by arranging a heat radiation means on a resin frame and forming an air flow path along the frame, as to a fixing unit covered with the resin frame. <P>SOLUTION: As for a recording part 20 of the image forming apparatus, a fixing unit 40 is arranged in the upstream part of a photoreceptor unit 30, and an air flow path 49 is formed above a heat roller 42 and on the upstream side part, then, the air is discharged by a fan 44. A radiating rib 45 is arranged in the resin frame 41 of the fixing unit, the radiation operation is efficiently performed by covering the surface of the rib with metal foil, or attaching a metal fin. And, excessive heating is not applied on the photoreceptor unit adjacent to the fixing unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
