PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable and simple sensor of a restrained cost, and used integrally together with a rotary transducer, and a calculation method. SOLUTION: Forces (F<SB>xw</SB>, F<SB>yw</SB>, F<SB>zw</SB>) acting on a contact point between a rotary element 1 and a support body 2 for supporting the rotary element are calculated. The calculation comprises routines processed repeatedly using a set of fixed sensors capable of transmitting three independent signals (S<SB>1</SB>, S<SB>2</SB>, S<SB>3</SB>) expressing the forces acting on a fixed race of a bearing, and a calibration procedure executed before the first routine in the repeatedly processed routines.
