PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geared motor that can brake a gear train without making noise even when an AC power supply is used. SOLUTION: In a clutch mechanism 30 formed in the geared motor 1, a first gear wheel 11, which corresponds to the first stage of the gear train 10, is provided with two planetary gears 111, 112 between first external teeth 41 of a gear shaft 40 and the internal teeth 71 formed on a driving gear 7. Also, the mechanism has a driving part 50 that comprises a clutch rotor 51, on which external teeth 515 that engage with second external teeth 42 of the gear shaft 40 are formed, and a clutch stator 52, which faces the clutch rotor 51.
