The model railway system uses a locomotive system that is formed by a number of coupled units connected to overhead wires [9]. The center unit [2] is the electrical power unit and on either side are cockpit control stages [1]. The cockpit units have active steering that responds to the output of sensors that respond to track curvature. The wheels of the vehicle are supported on a suspension system.
