Permanent mold comprises a local ceramic lining (4) having partial surface contours of a mold hollow chamber. The lining interlocks with the core (6) and is anchored with the core in a fixed or movable manner in the hollow chamber. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of the permanent mold. Preferred Features: The ceramic lining is based on silicon nitride and the core is based on molybdenum. The lining and the core together form a sleeve (2).
