DEVICE AND METHOD FOR BIO-MEMBRANE FILTRATION

A device and a method for bio−membrane filtration capable of efficiently and stably removing nitrate nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen together with SS by processing the nitrogen in anaerobic condition by a fixed bed type bio−membrane filtration method and also biologically removing residual hydrogen donor remaining in processed water in a same bio−membrane filtration device,the device characterized by comprising a filled layer having granulated filler for adhering microorganism filled therein,a processed liquid inflow port for feeding processed liquid provided at the top part of the filled layer,and a gas feed port for feeding gas substantially not containing oxygen or gas containing a very small quantity of oxygen provided at the bottom part of the filled layer.
