PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vitrified grinding wheel obtaining appropriate abrasive grain interval and preventing abrasive grains from coming off a grinding surface at an early stage. SOLUTION: In the vitrified grinding wheel composed of the abrasive grains 1 composed of super abrasive grains such as CBN grains or diamond grains, and bond 3 composed of vitrified bond bonding and retaining the abrasive grains 1, aggregate 2 composed of compound oxide grains composed of alumina (Al2 O3 ) and chromium oxide (Cr2 O3 ) having good affinity with vitrified bond forming the bond 3 is filled in the bond 3. Consequently, designated interval of abrasive grain is secured and bonding force among abrasive grains is enhanced to form the verified grinding wheel preventing abrasive grains from coming off at an early stage.
