PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance accuracy of conversion of a color space and to perform a color space conversion processing of a color value at high speed. SOLUTION: When an sRGB color space and a wRGB color space have a common white point in an equipment independent color space, a CPU 31 of a color printer 20 dissolves deviation of the white point of both color spaces to be caused when the color value of the sRGB color space is converted into the color value of the wRGB color space by using a matrix operation L by compensating a coefficient of the matrix L. As a compensation result, a matrix L' is obtained. The CPU 31 executes gamma compensation to a color value of an RGB color space obtained by a matrix S operation and then, executes a matrix operation L'. The CPU 31 executes inverse gamma compensation to the color value obtained by the matrix operation L'.
