PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operating efficiency of an operating member in a motor controlling device for an electric powered reel. SOLUTION: This motor controlling device is provided by using a joystick JS arranged at a counter case 4 for making on or off of a motor by a transferring operation in its pushing down direction of the joystick JS at its neutral position N and switching the rotational speed of the motor by its front and rear directional swinging operation and the joystick JS is energized so as to stay always at its neutral position N.
