PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically determine and indicate an effective search route by which field workers can search for any point of failure and operating procedures for field equipment, through exploitation of information on maps, facilities, failures, and works the concerned system has. SOLUTION: A failure point search support system is so designed as to dispatch vehicles and workers required for searching for a point of failure in an accidental power interruption section, determine a search route and operating procedures for field power distribution equipment, and communicate the determined route and procedures to the field workers in the course of recovery operation to cope with the failure in the distribution line. The support system is provided with a search route determining means 132, that determines the course of action for searching for the point of failure using information 111 to 113 about the history of occurrences of failures which is a record of the details of failures that occurred and the results of past failure point searches, map information 141 and 142, including the locations of power distribution equipment, and information 151 and 152 on works conducted before the failure and a search procedure determining means 133 that generates work instructions for the search for the point of failure. |
