PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distortion compensating power amplifying device having a reduced necessary memory capacity. SOLUTION: An input signal envelope detecting means 10 detects an input signal Pin. An amplitude correction data output means 20 outputs an amplitude correction data AM-ctl based on the detected envelope. A phase correction data output means 30 outputs phase correction data PM-ctl. An amplitude control means 50 corrects the amplitude based on the amplitude correction data AM-ctl. A phase control means 40 corrects the phase based on the phase correction data PM-ctl. Accordingly, a distortion of a power amplifier 50 can be compensated. In this case, since the amplitude and phase compensating data of the envelope of the input signal Pin are respectively stored in an amplitude correction data recording table (TBL-A) 22 of the means 20 and a phase correction data recording table (TBL-P-predict) 32 of the means 30, necessary memory capacity may be small.
